Check out Box Canyon in Bear Valley.  Parking is at 38.462120, -120.034130.  Climbing is approximately at 38.459615, -120.032106.  If you do a search in the California climbing areas along Hwy. 4 you should find some more information.

Hey Ricky I’ll be over by candy rock trail swimming at the trail head some time tomorrow if you want to stop by swim and hangout and show me and my buddy a couple spots that would be great!

Unfortunately I totally booked my ankle trying to learn how to ollie a few days ago. Apparently 35 is too old to learn skateboarding, I bumped my malleolus with the board and haven't been able to walk well for several days now. Getting old fucking blows, man.

So I'd come out but I probably shouldn't be hobbling down trails ATM. Also ain't it gonna rain tomorrow?

Oh GEEESUS, punk. If you think 35 is "getting old," I can't wait to hear from you in ten years.

And for the reading audience, I can call Ricky "punk" because we're good friends and I'm a lot older than him. Don't YOU even think of calling him that though.

Also, a bit of advice for a healthier life? Don't participate in dangerous sports and skateboarding is a dangerous sport.

This coming from the guy who's favorite thing in the world is a good ground up FA?

P.S. we're gonna see ya on highway 4 when? Give us a decade or two and we might have something resembling a bit of a climbing scene even! Although when it's getting hot here soon and I'm gonna start coming up your way a lot more. =)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
