Hi everybody.

I am 16, and long story short, I need to get a new pair of climbing shoes. If you want the full spiel on my woes, here is the link to were (and why) I am selling my old shoes: FS: Sarpa Instinct VSR

I am looking at getting a pair of old 5.10s, either the coyote (or maybe spire), and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the sizing of these shoes? I usually wear a M size 13/EU 47 street shoe, and have only found sizes 12.5 (46.5) and 13.5(48) on ebay.

Thanks,

Eli D.

Both of those shoes were unlined leather and will or will have stretched a fair bit. I wouldn't buy them in street shoe size but probably a half to full size smaller. If you're just looking for comfort and they are a little big you can always toss a pair of socks in to take up the space. Or re sell them and you'll know better how they fit you. Size is just a starting point all brands will fit different and even the same brand will be all over depending on the last.

Sounds good, thanks! I found a pair of 12.5 demo shoes that have not been previously worn, do you think those would work well?

Sounds like you're on the right track. Can always re sell them if they don't fit right. But at least you'll have a better idea how they fit your feet.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
