Lost ring at Yin & Yang crag
|
I’m on my way to the airport and I just realized that my wedding ring is almost certainly sitting on a rock somewhere at the Yin & Yang crag on Kraft. It’s a small thin gold band with an inscription on the inside that I’d be happy to verify if you find. If you find it and can mail it to me in NY, I’d be happy to pay for postage + reward you. It’s not worth a lot monetarily, but it has sentimental value. |

If you haven't already, I would post this on the Yin and Yang crag page as a comment here on MP, and post in the Vegas Climbers Facebook group as well. Good luck, I hope you get it back |

Yeah, telling your wife you misplaced your wedding ring in vegas is going to go over like a turd in a punchbowl. good luck! |

I hiked up there and looked around the base today and didn’t see it :(. |

Ryan Enright wrote: They were there when I visited the climb recently. It’s easy enough to make your own placements, the anchor bolts are set back and would require a bit more extension than usual. That said, given the proliferation of anchors at all the crags, I cannot see why these anchors require a bolt war mentality. After a while, you should just leave them, endlessly chopping damages the rock as much as anything. But, hey, whatever floats your boat. Also, to the OP, check in with Savannah, she said something about having your precious. |
