Robert Swrote: Those poor kids are going to grow up having seen their father’s actions as appropriate ways to conduct themselves with their children, and society in general…and more likely than not, emulate him. This is how society deteriorates. |

When people use "casual", "romp", etc. to describe their long day out. We get it everything was so easy for you |

Wow. Check out the vomit-inducing cringefest that is his / the kids IG comments. Didn't know bots had private parts to suck but that guy is apparently trying! e.g. on the MB American flag post-

TJ Espositowrote: this needs to be on a shirt hahahahaha |

TJ Espositowrote: He has created various social media accounts for his boys, and it's bloody obvious that he is the sole person behind those accounts. They are pretty much his sock puppet accounts. You think an 8 year old is going to create an account on BOOMERBOOK, and then proceed to respond to comments criticizing the shit they did on El Cap?! |
|
|
Ah, that Joe guy... Here's a gem from fall '22 when he claimed that his son was the youngest person to climb El Cap. Then he got schooled on the fact that jugging up a fixed line does not equal climbing |

They’re all idiots bro. They don’t understand. Also those flags kinda deserve to be held upside down rn. The government has no respect for the land. |

This week in the gym the person a couple of routes over fell while on TR. They were only 10'-15' off the deck. I did not think much of it even though they said to let them down as their finger was bleeding. They wandered off to take of their finger. A few minutes later I was about to start up a different route when one of the person's partners said "I hope you are not planning on getting on that climb," pointing to the first draw on the route. There stuck on the carabiner gate was a flap of skin about .5" wide and 1.5" long. Ick I did not need to see that. Epilogue - the gym crew showed up, took pictures, gloved up, climbed up, removed the flapper from the carabiner, disinfected the carabiner, took more pictures, disposed of the bodily parts. |

Nick Goldsmithwrote: Trumpers are icky but the left isn't that impressive either. Too many payoffs, backroom deals and subsidies to billionaires to even list from both sides, orange man spent 8 years learning the tricks of the trade and he is using that knowledge now. Politics in general are icky, hopefully the orange politician doesn't get us into deeper shit than he already has, I prefer having affordable costs of living so I can work less, climb more and hopefully have a place to live when I'm really old (many old folks around the world have nothing but dictators and war) |

The standard descent at Pierces Pass in the Blue Mountains is 2x50m rappels and the absolute lengths people will go to, to avoid bringing a second rope or learning to use a tag line. These posts are weekly. I can't imagine begging on the internet to borrow another party's rope for a descent, total ick. But like I know one of these people, and they're a better and more experienced climber than me. Am I crazy, or are they crazy!? Is this acceptable practice? |
