WTB Ice Axe

Looking for a lightweight ice axe for ski mountaineering, alpine climbing, and a little bit of glacial travel. Looking at Petzl Summit Evo, CAMP Corsa Alpine, or something similar. Kinda like the slightly curved shafts that those have but would still consider a straight shaft if it's the right fit. Regarding size, going back and forth but would consider anything in the 45cm - 60cm range. So all that said, willing to look at a bunch of axes if you are trying to get rid of one! Tried out some axes at my local shop and think I'm looking at the 55-60cm range. I think I can get a Raven for a bit cheaper locally so I will likely pass on that one, but thank you! |
