Even though the North Rim road has been delayed in its opening for the season, could I still access via bike after the gate legally? |
Legal or not, it is perfectly feasible. I have done it in the past with no problem |

I've been wondering the same thing, and another question. Is there are source of water when the campground facilities are not open, even if it means filtration or other treatment? |
Excepting something drastic (gov shutdown) the Park is open 24/365. The N Rim Road is gated in the winter to stop only auto traffic. Bike, ski or hoof it - perfectly legal. Solitude is yours. There won't be any CG water until the road opens as it is trucked in. In some years it has taken considerable time for water to arrive even after the road opens. Always best to arrive supplied. |

Closed. Don’t go. It’s not worth the hassle from the law. Or the poison ivy. Eldo should be open this time of year and the rock is better |
Eldo lol |

Valmont Canyon is also open this time of year. Full of shirtless dudes and "PSSSSTTTTT" noises. An overall much more pleasant environ than the black. |
