Hello, my Fiancé and I are planning on spending the month of August in and around the Dolomites. We are looking for a rental that would be around a month long as close to the mountains as we can get. If anyone knows a room we could rent from someone or just good beta on who to contact and where to stay that isn’t the typical cost of the ski resort towns that would be amazing. We are open to any region! If anyone else will be there in August and wants to go climbing hit me up as well. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and rewarded with libation, bolts, belays or all!

It's going to be difficult to find cheap deals in August in the dolomites, it's the busiest season, farrogusto baby.

Past few times we went we stayed here https://www.ciasacollina.it/en/apartments-in-alta-badia

Nice, clean apartments. Corvara is pretty centraly located and there are bus stops for the regional busses if you're not renting a car.I realize it probably falls in the 'typical cost of ski towns' category, but we've found the rates fair and reasonable, especially in the off season.

Hi Garrett,

if you move to the east side of Dolomites you will find some beautiful mountains, not well know as: Marmarole

https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marmarole

Being not a top turistic destination you can find reasonable prices:

https://www.idealista.it/en/geo/affitto-case/dolomiti-cadore/con-appartamenti/?ordine=prezzi-asc

In any case you will be into the mountains and less then 1 hr driving from Cortina

Post me if you need more beta

Cristiano
