Recs for climbing during non-climbing trip

I'm headed to Vegas next weekend for a show with some climbing-curious buddies and I'm looking for red rocks crag recommendations. Because I'll be with folks that aren't really there for the climbing, I'd love to find something to do up in the canyons so they can enjoy a bit of a hike and check out how beautiful it is back there. But I recognize that the best fits for my criteria will likely be in the Calico Hills and/or Kraft, so I'll take recs there, too.

In an ideal world, I'd find a crag that is in the canyons, offers shade (I think it is going to be hot), has single pitch climbs, is predominantly sport (so I can travel lighter--but I am willing to pack my rack if necessary), and has three to four routes in the .8-11ish range. Bonus points for crags that won't be a mess on a spring break weekend...

Does anything along these lines exist?

I was thinking perhaps something in Icebox, though I think that is pretty much all gear protected. The Winter Heat Wall could do the trick, though again it looks gear protected, and it isn't in the canyons.

Whatcha got? I know, I'm asking for a lot...

Thanks!

The canyons aren't going to have sport crags. But Necromancer Wall fits your criteria pretty well. Outside the loop road, Romper Room and Alcohol Wall come to mind, though still not sport. In Calico Hills, GRB has everything you want plus beginner multipitch if you want to attempt that; and great views of the canyons. Shade in the morning till around noon.

Thanks, Kris! Not surprised to hear that there aren’t really any sport crags in the canyons. But thanks for the recs, I’ll check them out. Looks like I may need to pack the rack!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
