hey all,

i'm going to be spending some time in Vegas at the beginning of April and will likely have a day or two to boulder alone. I'm looking for recommendations from V5 to V8 for good boulders that have safe landings for one big organic pad and a slider.

any and all beta appreciated!

Umpa Lumpa V5 (worlds best lowball in my very biased opinion)

The Pearl V5 (1 big pad is probably enough, maybe want 2 though)

Equinox V6 (youd probably want 2 pads but you could get away with 1 since the beginning just traverses right above the ground)

Spitting Venom V8 (short with only two hard moves)

But if you’re in Kraft or Red Springs on a weekend in April, there’ll be pads on most of the boulders.

legend - thank you! It'll likely be a weekday afternoon, but figure there'd probably be people around. good to know the solo options though

Equinox is a great suggestion, the High Road nearby is a fun low ball. Red springs is a peaceful alternative to the circus circus at monkey bar. Anywhere at Kraft is likely to have pads under it honestly, could be any of 1000 North American university’s spring breaks then.
At Kraft, you might like Tied to the Whipping Post/ Orange Top and try the Bathtub next door, classic Lynn sandbag tech slab!

Highly recommend trashing your rental car to go to Black Velvet for a change of scenery and running a few laps on Natasha’s.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
