Hey anyone out there have decent beta for summiting LEP? All the descriptions on the Mtn proj page are little to no help… just curious if anyone has pictures of the start of solo flight and the general line to follow? Any information in addition to the Mtn proj page would be great!

Gerry Roach’s Indian Peaks guidebook has very detailed info.

Lots of good TRs with pics out there on the ‘ol google machine!  I had fun piecing it together from various sources on my attempt.

And here is a gpx from a friend that I used last summer.

The combination of weather, remote access, route finding, and loose rock create a unique combination of objective risks that should be evaluated with relevant weight. We lost a friend to the community on Lone Peak last summer, and I'm certain no one wants to see that again. Enjoy the quest, and be safe!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
