Red Rock guide book rental or online resources?

Hey guys! We are a bunch of Europeans exploring the Vegas Area and Utah for the upcoming two weeks. We will start by sportclimbing in Red Rock for a couple of days and are beyooond excited!!

Were we come from it's quite easy to just rent guidebooks for a few days, are there resources like this in the Vegas area? Googling only brought me to guiding companies.
All of us kind of already maxed out our luggage capacities, we're not really looking forward to buying 5 different guidebook for our time in the US and hauling the home.
Also, paying 50 bucks for a book we'll only use for 4 days seems a bit excessive.

Although we like books, alternatively we'd also be happy to get app or ebook content. 'Red Rocks, A Climber's Guide' doesn't seem to be available as an ebook?
Bur for apps, so far I only found Kaya for bouldering, no sportclimbing resources...

We appreciate the help,
A

For that short a time the Mountain Project app/guide will be sufficient.

Echoing what Marc said. Mountain Project should be sufficient especially for sport climbing. In fact, it's arguably better as new routes get posted here much faster than they make it into a printed guidebook. The Route Finder on the browser webpage is helpful to find crags with a range of grades, just make sure you sort it correctly. If you use the app, make sure the area (US state, Nevada or Utah) is updated. Likely not a problem for you if you will have just downloaded it, but many people seem to forget to update for the latest routes.

Remember to download the photos for all areas you're interested in climbing while you have service/ahead of time - you won't have service once you're in

Plane tix from Europe: $987

One gallon of gas : $4.12

2 redbulls and clif bar: $7.34

Cost of guidebook per day: $12.50

Knowing that the 5.9 is a Joe Herbst 5.9: Priceless

The MP app could be great for your trip but you may find the database overwhelming if you just search by state because the number of routes is huge and the area you are talking about can be huge. Nevada alone is only slightly smaller than Italy. Utah is about 5 times bigger than Switzerland.

So look at a map first and narrow down the geographical subarea when you set the criteria to where you physically want to visit.

if you are sport climbing you might want to know to look in Arizona, since Lime Kiln is in that sliver of the state near Mesquite.
