Hey Merideth, don't know if you've ever been up to Brownstone Wall before, but I doubt that the length of the route itself, however you choose to go, is going to be much of a determining factor in the length of your day. The time factor comes in with the time on the loop road and the hiking up there to the base of the wall, and then back to the parking lot once you have returned to the Brownstone base down the descent trail. It's a fairly long walk in with a lot of uphill to get there. It depends on your fitness, but I always find Handrens approach time underestimate the times for me. Have fun, it's beautiful up there.
