If a user doesn't have any posts/contributions, we can't flag them for Admins to axe. Maybe this thread can serve as a way to do so:

This is a typical FS/WTB "email" from a spammer:

"Hello
if you are still interested in getting Mammut Smart Alpine 8.9 you can contact nathanmade675@gmail.com he have it available for sale.

Thanks"

Is there a way to make it harder for scammers/spammers/cbd or temu salespeople/bots/AI & everything in between to create an account?

I asked my wife to join an Australian blue mountains FB group so I could get trip beta. Before I could post, they made me answer a couple of questions to prove that I wasn't a bot, that I had a legitimate interest in Australia and/or climbing in the blue mountains.

It's great that the mods are pretty quick w deleting spam accounts

This dude tried to scam me when I posted a WTB for blue mountains guidebook. Emailed me directly, texted back & forth. Went silent when I asked for a pic & specific title for the book he was selling. Phone # he used was 4012817838, I think email address he used was officialmailnet00@gmail.com

Make it sticky in the FS forum?
