As for me, my first stuck rope was on Bishop's Terrace because I was (am) too new to recognize why I shouldn't use mid-chain-links haphazardly for rappel set-ups. Took alot of pulling.
Agreed. Furthering the epic by suggesting they walk off is bad advice in my opinion.
Darkness would certainly make it difficult but again this is a descent that is ascended by people who aren’t climbers (Vegas hikers and scrambling club or whatever). It’s extremely well cairned.

There’s so much wisdom in this thread to behold. In summary though, Cat in the Hat needs a chain anchor about as badly as RR needs more traffic from trad climbing YouTube graduates.
