I'm going to a wedding in Temecula this summer and have a morning I'm going to try and get away and do some laps on something. Does anyone have recommendations of some easy to set up TR solo routes I could run some laps on? Preferably crack climbs in the 5.9-5.10 range but really anything would be cool.

Nice, is that basically the "Temecula Bouldering Area" on MP? or there are any specific routes I should check out? Looks super cool

Temecula Domes would be closest to you, but pretty hard access I believe, and it will be nice and hot at that time of year, maybe too hot :) There is an old thread about the Domes on here and it appears there is still some confusion on how to get there and what part of it is private and public land.

But it does look very inviting and has some cool old skool routes up there, but you might spend the day just searching and not climbing. If you drive about 1.5 hour or so south you can get to Mission Gorge in San Diego that has a lot of 1 pitch crack routes for TR solo and many you can access to set up TR without leading. Or maybe try and find a partner for Tahquitz and experience that classic spot while you are here. There is also Mt Rubidox in Riverside just north of Temecula that has some shorter climbs but might have some stuff you can get on as well.

Head to the cougar crag man,,,extremely short approach (5 min) , all anchors are accessible via a scramble, and decent enough lines for the day.

I’d recommend running laps on stranger danger there.

The Cougar parking area has been notorious for the stealing of catalytic converters, etc.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
