I’m looking for mountaineering partners for some classic PNW climbs, including Mount Adams, Mount Baker, St Helens. These can be separate climbs, just posting them together. My climbing schedule is open from late May - September, but June/ July is probably peak season.

Looking to climb together before hand too on some other peaks to familiarize ourselves with each other :)

Let me know if you’re interested in climbing!

Hello, Chin!

Although I have not planned these particular mountains, I want you to keep us updated for when you schedule something. My plan for this season is Glacier Peak, Rainier, and Hood.

Cheers!

I’m looking to do Adam’s and Baker this season. Did St Helens solo last year but wouldn’t mind doing it again either

Oleksii, Adam, that’s good news! I’ve emailed you both.

I have another post for Rainier as well, Hood and Glacier Peak are on my radar too, along with Adam, Baker and St Helens.

Hey y’all, I just happened upon this thread while scouring the web for advice. I recently moved to Spokane and am excited to get into some mountain climbing. I have zero experience in the mountains, so planned on doing a guided course on Mount baker or similar to start learning the ins and outs of glacier travel etc. Also planned on doing Adams this summer since it’s non-technical. If anyone has some spare time and wouldn’t mind fielding questions to help me get going it would be greatly appreciated. It’s hard to sort through equipment, gear, clothing etc because there’s so much conflicting advice, especially between people that climb on their own and guiding services.

Would also be interested in Adams and Baker, and any other climbs as well this summer!

Hey Rex, there’s the gear forum here for great questions https://www.mountainproject.com/forum/103989417/climbing-gear-discussion..

I’m also happy to field questions in a PM.

Hi everyone, I wanted to throw my name into this chat. I’ll be in Washington this June, and I’m looking to climb/ski some volcanos. I’ve been up Rainer and Baker, so I’d love to do Adams, Hood Glacier.. eventually all of them :)

Hi everyone! I’m looking at doing Baker this year and would be interested in some other peaks too. I’m open to climbing June-August and would be down to scramble up some local peaks to get to know people/train beforehand

Hey Bri, Melinda, Stephen

I sent yall emails, trying to get a group going. Will likely get at least a practice climb / hike get here before our PNW adventure if possible. Looking at Mt Whitney in Walt May now. Let me know if yall are interested in climbing together then, email works best!

Hey all,

I'm headed to Baker to do the North Ridge in May but will want to do some other climbs while I'm up there. Willing and prefer to suffer long days. Strongly prefer skiing down if we're on easy routes. Add me to the group?

I’m planning to attempt Hood on June 12 or 13. I’m booked to be there both days. If anyone is interested in joining up shoot me a PM.

J, Kevin, sent yall emails. Not looking to do a ski trip, looking for more classic mountaineering approach.

Right now, I have a Whitney climb late April / early May, if anyone is interested, looking at Mountaineer's Route, Whitney Trail as the backup. Looking to climb the (relatively) smaller peaks first, before attempting Rainier perhaps mid June - mid July. Nothing confirmed yet, open to suggestions.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
