If anyone finds a lone Nomic on the Shoestring Gully descent/Mt. Webster descent trail, please message me or bring it into IME :) It sneakily came off a follower pack on the way down today and we would love it back. Happy to buy the finder some beverages of their choice!

**** edit: Nomic was found! Hoorayyyy

Now it’s only January, but this may be a contender for Mansplaining of the Year! Amazing!

Actually its guide splaining. Every year their clients lose tools and they still don't seem to figure this out..  heck its not even a heavy snow year. heavy snow years they lose tools @ Franks and  don't find them but they still don't set the clients up with tethers.

You’re cracking me up!

Hey Kelsey, how did you ever get your tools down from those Alaskan peaks without a guide to explain it? Did you just throw them off the top and look for them later?

And if Kelsey is a Mountain guide, and if I’m also a Mountain Guide, who explains what to whom?

The guy who reads about you guys having  clients loose your tools and is really good at losing his own tools and  therefore figured out a system to lose less of his own shit so just tried to share it with you but since you guys are mountain guides you all are way too cool to listen  to me so I will continue to read these requests for help and occasionally find tools in the spring ;)

Oooh, I misread “guidesplaining” and assumed you were a guide trying to explain. My bad!

I believe this is known as "toolsplaining".

Happy hunting! Any luck with the hiker FB groups?
