is anyone on here located in florida? noticed there's no forum for florida, seems like we aren't considered a climbing state. |

We aren't, if they made a list of the top 54 US States and Territories for climbing Florida wouldn't be on the list...although I may be giving Mississippi too much credit? |

Alan, I've wondered whether there might be anything climbable around Scottsbluff, but not enough to ever check it out. Ronan, as someone who once lived in Florida, my advice is GET OUT NOW! |

I once was sentenced to Florida, too—for a short time, anyway. Stopped climbing and started road cycling. The cycling thing went on for 25 years until I ended up back in Colorado and rediscovered climbing. Didn’t surf or scuba, but those are other good options for Florida inmates who can’t escape. The few gyms aside, are there any good hand cracks to be found on overpasses or bridges? Buildering options? |

If you’re in North/central Florida try climbing at Santos bike park, more specifically the vortex section. Decent climbing there that you don’t need to trespass to get to. Better climbing elsewhere (illegal). |
