I’m looking for a partner to climb with this upcoming year and especially this winter season in Moab and Red Rocks.

I climb 5.11 in the gym, 5.10 on top rope outside, but I’ve only recently broken into the 5.9 lead sport scene outside (I’m still most comfortable on 5.8 sport lead). I have very little experience with crack climbing and trad. I’m wanting to break into the 5.6-5.8 lead on trad and work up from there. I’ve read and educated myself a lot on trad and have practiced placing gear and doing some aid climbing with trad protection, but I’m looking to gain more lead free climbing experience on different terrain and get more movement on trad routes in particular.

The partner I am seeking I hope is in a similar position as I am and wants to have fun and has an eager desire to get better and be patient in the process.

Im very willing to go regularly. I have a Tacoma with plenty of clearance for any backroads we may encounter. I have a double rack 0.1-0.4 (Z4 camelots) and a double rack 0.5-5 (C4 camelots) along with a stopper set #1-#13 and an offset stopper set #7-#11. I also have a handful of other sport and canyoneering equipment which may aid any adventure we may embark on together :).

If you are in a similar boat and are looking for a reliable, safe, patient, and eager to learn partner, then please reach out. I’d love to meet up and climb together!

Hey Jonathan! I'm an experienced trad leader in the 5.10 and 5.11 range and I'd love to get out to Indian creek for the long weekend of Jan 18-20. I'm stoked on the weird and wide and I'd be happy to get ya up to speed! Let me know if you're interested. Text me at (716)-481-2957
