Red Rock routes/crags like Tarantula/Spring Break/Gotham City

Had a blast on this trio of routes, greatly enjoyed the tricky-but-good gear and face climbing over placements style at that hard 11, easy 12 grade range.

If anyone has recommendations for similar crags/routes, please tell me! Multipitch okay too but definitely looking to mix in trad cragging days.

Below your grade request but you should climb Nightcrawler without the bolts too.

A guidebook author once told me how many pitches in RR are 5.12 or harder with gear protected cruxes….and the number is very low, like a few dozen. Good luck!

I had the same question after climbing those route at Ice Box last week, I wanted more of that style! I just saw This post from Honnold about Mass Extinction crag which seems like it could be pretty similar but maybe a tad harder

I saw that same post and came to the same conclusion Taylor! Pretty damn windy last week, but I've added it to my list for the next trip. Looks SICK!
