Sugarloaf Partners in the New Year!

Hey MP!

Looking for some partners to climb at Sugarloaf during the winter months after I'm back in town from the holidays. I have some big goals for the upcoming Yosemite season so down to get TF after it whenever the weather at Sugarloaf is good. Trying to keep the free-climbing blade sharp so to speak!

Climbing 5.9/5.10- (tick list up to date). Looking for someone around the same level. Safety minded and freakin' psyched!

I really enjoy good hangs with people as much as I do the climbing so here's a little about me: I teach high school, love bluegrass and jambands (sorry), follow sports, and am SF based so bonus points if you're in the area and we can link at Touchstone. Hit me up if you think we'll get along!

Hey Dan !! Would love to climb with you in the new year! I’ve been out to sugarloaf a few times and really enjoy it as a spot and would love to keep exploring its climbs! It also sounds like we climb at similar levels … oh and I’m SF based / a Touchstone gym member as well :)

Hit me up, sac area based and have availability midweek and weekends. Have a nice circuit up there for 10/11 mileage

Been climbing a long time and happy to help with multipitch/bigwall goals

Hey Dan! Would love to climb this winter! Also in SF and also at touchstone :) Leading up to 5.9 trad right now and stoked to get out this winter esp. since I didn't get out much this fall.

Hey y'all! I'm also near Sacramento and like to climb Sugarloaf or the valley. Also, I'm getting a pass at pipeworks in Sacramento for a couple months to stay fit if anyone wants to get some rope time? Call or text me anytime 7022176544 -Oskar

Also jumping in here if OP or any others are looking for Fri-Sunday partners. Have never been to sugarloaf and would love to check it out. Climbing 5.9-5.12 ideally but generally psyched on anything. Very mellow and safe. Pls pm if interested in linking up!

If anyone wants to get on some sport 10ish mins drive from loaf parking.(There are a few trad lines, fwiw)
Approach is 10-15, and moderates galore. Climbing good all winter, even if snow is around.
Only access issue is sometime the road is snowy, and a 4x4 is needed to get to parking.... it is subaru-able most years though. This winter the snow level is high enough to be a non issue thus far.

Dm if interested.
If I'm not giggin' I'm usually around and down to get out. Weekends, weekdays, whatever.

Always around for mid-week or weekend partners :)
Happy to get on Trad 8-10s and follow or belay on harder, sport mostly stoked on 11s for other crags.

Full rack with lots of triples or 4s of everything, and always have a pack full of sour candy.
