How to search for gear in forum

I can find no way to search for specific gear on the form. Is there a way?

Are you looking to search for gear reviews or for buying/selling a certain thing?

The MP search function isn't the best so I will often go to my internet browser bar and put, "search on Mountainproject.com: DMM offset nuts" as an example and work off those results rather than searching via the MP search itself

Thanks guys. Regarding a lousy search engine I couldn't even find anywhere where I could do a search on the app or on my laptop. 

And using the Google find function this slow go just because it's one page at a time there's hundreds of pages on the forum. 

You would think they would have a decent search engine. It's very popular site and the forms are quite helpful.

I did not understand your above suggestion until I looked again just now. It did work and I now have a way to search other sites for "search terms" in the future.
