Hey fellow climbers! I'm back for another round of Tucson winter climbing and looking for partners. I've been here a few times before (Ropes on Mt. Lemmon, Cochise, and the Dry, boulders in TMP) and just love the variety of routes around here, but my previous partners have sadly moved away. I'm in town Jan 6-Jan 29. I work Mon-Thurs but am generally pretty wide open Fri-Sun. I have a car and am happy to carpool (drive or pay for gas) for the crags further afield (although I don't know that it could make the last leg of the drive out to the Dry).
About me: male, turning 40 in March, lawyer, live in Seattle but work remotely. My wife and I are drying out in Tucson for a bit after a rainy winter, but she does not climb (especially not while six months pregnant). I like to offer the UBE™ (Ultimate Belay Experience) so that my partners can try hard stuff without worrying about what I'm up to on the ground. Been in the gym a lot lately since it's been raining in Seattle, so I'm ready to get outside!
I've been relatively diligent about ticking on MTP, so feel free to see if you think there's some overlap: that being said, I'm happy to climb down a few grades or get my butt kicked on harder stuff too :)
Let me know if you're interested, and climb on!
PS - I also brought my mountain bike and am looking forward to getting out for some rides (50 year, TMP, Mt. Lemmon, ???) if you are also a multi-sport person.
