New Tieton Guidebook?
|
There are comments on the Tieton area page here from last summer saying there will be a new guidebook out for Tieton this year at some point. Anyone know anything firmer on that? |

I just got mine and its amazing! |

Picked up mine today. So good to have a brand new comprehensive guidebook to the area, given that the last comprehensive one by Marlene Ford and Jim Yoder was from two decades ago. It was weird to open up the parcel and be greeted by an all black cover, no photo, no images, just "CLIMB TIETON" on the front and spine... Browsing through the book it looks like Jacob, Andy, and Walter are far more stringent when it comes to handing out "stars" than Marlene and Jim were - though in this guidebook it's out of 3 hops instead of out of 4 stars. Looking forward to hitting up some of these newer crags next time I head down there! |

Certainly the climbing itself doesn't need a sales pitch, nor are the authors in it for the money (it all goes back to the crags anyways). And totally agree that it's amazing to have such a sweet resource for this area! |
