UpENDing Parkinson's is a program dedicated to using gym based rock climbing to help people with the symptoms of Parkiinson's Disease, and may help slow the progression of this progressive neurodegenerative disease. Started in the DC area 8 years ago, we started the first branch in Colorado at the Movement Climbing Gym in Golden, CO.  We are now proud to announce significant expansions.  Open to anybody with PD, irregardless of climbing ability and experience.  Volunteer belayers are needed.

  1. Saturday sessions started today, Jan. 4, 2025 at Movement Golden, from 830 to 1030 AM. Tuesday sessions from 10 am to 12 noon will continue. Please register at movementgyms.com/golden/cal…;location=golden
  2. Sessions are starting in Boulder at:
  • Boulder Rock Club, $15, Fridays 1-2:30pm (starting January 10th). REGISTRATION LINK
  1. Sessions are starting Jan. 9, at Movement Englewood on Thursdays, I think from 10 am to 12 noon (I have not been able to confirm the time as of now). Link not yet available

Thanks for your help!

Very cool! I would love to inquire about getting a class set up in Durango with our chapter of the Parkinson's Association of the Rockies! I will send you a DM. Cannot say thank you enough for doing this for PD folks!
