Wandered around Walker Ranch today and there was no signs about climbing restrictions, its also not on their website, also the latest management plan calls out encouraging climbing access:
"Climbing access is now permitted within the formerly closed burn area and only limited on Castle Rock if a closure is instituted to protect nesting raptors."
"Promote alternative recreation such as fishing and climbing in appropriate areas and at appropriate times of year."
Is there something im missing here? There seems to be a lot of concern online (Kaya, MP, etc...) about respecting closures.

Thanks for posting this. Interesting to see they're okay with climbing (now). I went there with someone a few years back who'd done a bit of climbing and he showed me around a little. I didn't explore a ton but I don't recall seeing a lot that looked all that interesting. But I also remember thinking that climbing probably wasn't allowed, which I'm sure affected my perception. Sounds like it may be worth going back for a second look.
