Hardest climb of the year. Grade II snow. This is the short easy section (ie thigh high snow) near the summit. The bulk of the climb was at least waist high. Thank god my friend was able to power through that stuff (because I sure as hell couldn't) Steeper than it looks. This was my second year skiing. What a day : ) North Couloir Hallet Peak RMNP |
