Wanting to learn to climb: Lexington KY

Hoping to find someone willing to show me some basics at LEF, in Lexington and eventually in the Red. I will be doing Search and Rescue in the Red so getting some climbing basics under my belt will be helpful. Thanks

Gyms do Not like unofficial safety instruction on their property because their insurance companies nag them to death about that stuff.

Canyoneering experience may be more applicable to you.  Check facebook and such for groups near you.

If you want to learn about climbing stuff for rescue, consider something like a 40hr rope access rescue technician course, and start researching the relevant certifications.
