I'm planning to climb Corte Madera this weekend.  How are the trail conditions to El Nino Wall, Video Dome, and Main Wall?  is everything grown over?  I've only seen a few tics since early 2024.

What’s up man-

was there about a month ago…

main trail is still good to go. El Niño wall was a bit overgrown & zero clue about video dome. I’d just head out there with some loppers and you’ll be bueno!!

Hey Kurt,

Main trail from the parking area is looking pretty good. Trail to El Nino is over grown but like Buzz said, bring a light pair of loppers and you'll be good. Didn't go to Video Dome but I'm guessing it will be even more over grown because you have to pass thru El Nino to get there. I'm hoping to get back there in a week or two. I plan on bringing loopers and clear out some over growth. My goal is to climb some routes on the far left side of Corte. I've climbed a few routes over there (Agave Sunset & others) years back and they were fun. Didn't see any snakes but they sure like El Nino wall so keep an eye out.

Climbed at El Nino wall on Saturday, the El Nino trail was overgrown but not impassable.  Corte Madera is so beautiful.  For those of you reading this... get out there, it's worth the effort!
