Winter climbing near AVL

Hey ya’ll! Looking to get out this winter in preparation for a trip to Potrero Chico in February. Who wants to brave the cold on some south facing walls? shortoff, stone, Chattanooga, sauratown? Will be missing the bald for sure :( leading 10-11s on sport - 7-8s on trad. Happy to drive to find good rock!! Mostly a weekend warrior. Let me know if you want to climb!

I’m in Chattanooga pretty frequently on the weekends and am always down for a trip to TWall. Were you looking at any specific dates?

I’m down for some weekend climbing! I’ve been wanting to hit Stone for a while and the weather is now perfect.

also, just saw this evening on FB that Rumbling Bald is open for climbing as of yesterday! I definitely want to make it out there this winter.

If y’all are able to plan weekends text me and let’s get some time in the books. Thinking about Chattanooga 28th-31st 30 two 363 zero 925 

I'll be at Table Rock State Park a bunch over break hopefully. Whiteside and Laurel Knob are also good areas with multi pitch that will help dial in your belay change overs. Pumpkintown has some "sport" multi pitch also.
