What Is Happening to Mountain Project?

It's been a while since I logged on. And all my ticks are gone. And my profile showed that I'm a new member. And I had to sign up for this thing called onX map, which I don't need, and don't care for. I had to sign up just to access my account, which I had for over ten years. Did MP get purchase by some big outdoor company? 

Probably, better to ask in general climbing, but they did get bought out by another company. You should be able to link your account though.

Thanks. I figured it out. I deleted the onX account. And reset my password for my old account. It turns out that the old account was linked with my FB account, so all my ticks are intact.
