Viacruxis, stop motion mountaineering short

I promised Ignasi (one of the film makers) to share this news when it was finally made available for digital download and/or streaming. Anyway Viacruxis is now on Vimeo on Demand (link below)!

Viacruxis is a short, stop motion/claymation film about two mountaineers attempting to scale the highest peak. It was produced a couple years ago and has received a lot of film festival recognition since. I originally watched as part of the 2018/19 Banff Center Mountain Film Festival World Tour that played in Minneapolis and thought the film was very clever, well done and embodies the true spirit of the Banff Center Mountain Film Festival.

Film blurb: Marcel and Andrezj are a legendary pair of mountaineers. They have been the first ones to conquer the highest and hardest peaks. Despite their different temperaments, they make a great team. Marcel has taken the lead and popularity, whereas Andrezj always plays a secondary role. Now they face the biggest challenge: reaching the virgin summit of the highest mountain. In order to achieve this, they will have to overcome formidable obstacles, suffer hardships and stand each other for a long time. But Andrezj is no longer willing to continue in Marcel’s shadow.

I watched this at Banff film festival. My group all thought it was hilarious and fantastic.

Sorry to resurrect this (not really though this film deserves any and all bumps. It is simply the best. The essence of mountain climbing!), but I have not been able to find where/how to buy/download this. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I remember it used to be on Vimeo to buy but I only rented it a couple times and haven't seen where to buy it since then.

The film just appeared again at an old link from 2020.  I really wonder when people resurrect ancient threads but in this case I hope it's justified.  I've been waiting for years to watch it.
