Twall closed for hunting, Nov 30 to Dec 5

So a couple hunters can walk in the woods while 60 people dont climb over the weekend |

Classic. |

Next they are going to say someone can’t walk through a school with their rifle instead of a couple hundred kids learning to read |

It's kinda laughable that yall think rock climbers are so special. Hunters actually pay to play on public land. Getting 6 days out of the year is laughable really they should get a lot more. |

You've got a point, Big Country, but hunters do get 24 days in the fall. It's fortunate for climbers that almost all of those days fall outside the prime T-Wall season. Now my personal beef with the closures it affects my ability to come to the T-Wall for the long weekend following Thanksgiving. |

I hiked up to T-Wall and back five days out of seven for most of two years, wandered the cliff line from left-to-right, and never once saw anything worth shooting unless you really hate rattlers. The closures are silly, there's plenty of land in the area that isn't heavily trafficked ... |

I am all for hunters hunting but T-wall sits in Prentice Cooper state forest which is 24686 acres and Twall is roughly 300 acres (wall to road), which is sandwhiched between the wall and the river. Lop off that 1% of the area from the hunting bound and the hunters can hunt 365 days a year and the 99% hikers can wear orange vest. |

Having been chased by drones looking to photograph some sick shots for the gram, I’m ok being out of the way of being chased by 243 for the freezer post. |

Jon Winsleywrote: Think about what you say, it'd be easier to lop off that 1% permanently than the other way around which you favor. Just sayin |

Jon Winsleywrote: I'd leave that alone |

I feel like this a non issue, and that the closures for climbers are more for our own safety as to avoid a tragic accident. Let them do their thing and enjoy Suck Creek for a change |

B Swrote: The side where the sun sets on across the creek is off prentice Cooper. The camp to the horror are on prentice Cooper. Unfortunately neglected but more than a few top notch routes. |
