Climbing strength training contraption question
|

Hi everyone,
I have a quick question about a piece of training gear. So there’s this climbing finger training thing that’s kinda like a finger curl/ crimp curl thing. Honnold uses it in the la sportiva comfort zone video on YouTube. Was wondering what it’s actually called and where I can get it. I want one for climbing, as well as other grip training outside of climbing. Or if there’s something similiar, please enlighten me. Thanks, RTTDB |

That is a "Titan's Telegraph Key" from Iron Mind, who make a ton of grip training tools. |

Hey can you link that video? I’ve been searching for this one, where Alex and Tommy shit talk about each other, and Alex describes his grip as a kittens paw, but then at the end of the video, panther arms. |

You sound like you are built like Jim Holloway, a boulderer from Colorado who pushed the standards to a new, very high, level back in the 1970s. There is a wiki page for him with a link to a brief bio. Look him up and feel inspired. Best of luck on your journey! TLDR: Don’t worry about gaining too much weight! P.S. If you go to Jim Holloway’s Wikipedia page, check out the links at the bottom. One of them is to a John Gill article about the 6’ 5” Holloway. Lots of pics and some great commentary. |
