Any thoughts out there on a few V10's that could be good for breaking into the grade?

Skip v10. I’m not joking. Work your way through the classic 9s to solidify the grade while projecting an 11. V10 at the gunks is kind of weird. The 9s and 11s are better.

If you want a real answer, Crouching Dragon is upper end (it felt harder than Venus in Scorpio to me) but is just an extension to a 9 so if you do that first you’ll have less work to do I guess. Andrews roof is a time sink - don’t get suckered in because the first 3 moves feel easy.

Lots of good 10s in the gunks, although they are "weird" in that they require some sleuthing/hiking to get to.

myloade, Flight of the Ziz, NBD, the Path Left, gas chamber, and Ring of Fire to start with, plus Ideas are Bulletproof and Chaotic Stability if you like highballs.

Since they haven't been mentioned yet, Solution and Big Black also come up as common first Gunks 10s. The most approachable 10s in the region are in Master Bedroom probably -- if you have good power and endurance, Unbearable Lightness and War Cry and such could go quick

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
