How to make a Hurley Sr.

I am looking to make a Hurley Sr. I have a Hurley Jr. from the Access Fund (thanks). My idea was to attach an adapter of sorts to the coupling nut with a larger diameter tube to fit around the bolt and hanger. I have several routes that have wedge bolts spinning in the hole. In the past I have been able to funk them out, but it is hard on my elbow and shoulder. And its hard to tell if the clip had reengaged. I also have a route with Petzl long life bolts in sandstone, that need to be replaced. Suggestions would be helpful

I started on one using 3/4" acme thead and an aluminum hex tube.

I will attach a clevis on the business end. Ordered most things from Mcmaster Carr. I will get my part list together.

Here is everything u need. Geir doesn't have his stuff setup on the website with active links anymore.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.

Fixed Hardware: Bolts & Anchors
