Checking the forecast for this weekend i'm seeing some mild rain .1" possible depending on the weather model.  Should we plan on climbing elsewhere?

Right. So based on the forecast, should I plan on climbing those non-sandstone/RRC routes on saturday?

@ chris

If I were in your shoes id have a backup plan ready to go.  When looking at model forecasts and chances of precip the canyons based on their topography tend to over preform in wringing moisture out of the atmosphere as systems pass over the crest of the spring mountain range.  (see rain shadow effect)

"There remains uncertainty with how deep this trough will dig
and where (if at all) the low will close off. These details have the
potential to change the forecast quite a bit between now and then,
so be sure to check the forecast if you have outdoor or travel plans
this weekend."

Climb so hard on Thursday that you won't mind two rest days in a row...

Do any locals have insight about how much time will be needed to let the rock dry out based on the amount of precip currently forecasted?  Think things will be dry enough by Sunday?

Forecast already looking better.  Cold! but less wind/rain forecasted.  Climb on!

.
