My partner took an extremely bad lead fall on the second pitch of marijuana yesterday. If anybody is motivated, I'm very curious to see what happened. I believe 0.3 Z4 blew about 6 ft above the first bolt in a 8-in long roof crack. The cam seems okay, so I'm curious if there's a scar from rock blowing out, or if the crack is just flared open downwards. I didn't have time to inspect as I was repelling him down. There's also a three-piece anchor at the base of the climb we used to rap down the slabs which is his gear if anybody wants to coordinate a return. But he's in the ICU right now.

I will be up there this Saturday and will let you know what I see/find. Hope your partner has a speedy recovery.

I hope your friend recovers well and you find the support you need. And I hope whoever finds your gear honors the original "Booty Rulze" and returns your partner's gear.

That climb is well above my pay grade so I cannot help you with the gear, but if you're interested, SAR posted some pictures of the rescue on their FB Page. Looks like an amazing rescue. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/159MqBNk95/

And if you are in need of a friend in town to maybe sit and have a cup of coffee and decompress, feel free to reach out. I have some free time today and Tuesday. I can imagine how difficult this is being so far from home. (I'm an older nurse and a good listener.)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
