Are we talking bum hugging Wranglers or decently fit Carharts? Or those spandexy jeans all the instagram workout dudes wear?

Any denim full stop. Outside it makes more sense, but in a gym, no

hey…. I didn’t name names. You’re the only one naming names, namely me ;) I think everyone has their own run ins with an “MP Admin.” As for me, I have quite a few over my entire time ever on MP, and I didn’t target anyone or make any reference.

I think you’re the one who might need to give it a rest if you’re getting upset.

if you are sick and you have to go out in public to get supplies and you mask up so that you won't infect other people good for you. (I did this pre covid) If you are immune compromised and mask up in public that's probably a smart thing. If you get triggered by people who need to wear a mask for one reason or another chances are pretty good that your just an assshole.

Oddly enough, never had an issue with an admin. I don’t post much though

Agreed. I think the people that ick me though are those who mask people who don’t need it. Particularly children who had to be masked in schools in the 21-22 academic year. Hippocratic Oath says do no harm. The masking of children messed with a lot of kids mental health, and there was virtually no upside for risk of disease for kids. One could argue that it was justified for the sake of transmission to the elderly, the same way that young people die in war for the sake of old men’s squabbles, but that doesn’t make it right, or change the fact that you’re abusing children.

I think it would also be traumatic for a kid to know that they might have transmitted a disease that killed their teacher or grandparents. And also, in order for schools to remain open, the teachers/staff can't all be out sick. But yeah, they're all a bunch of evil child abusers trying to make the best out of a bad situation.

Things that give me the ick: people who make bold proclamations without thinking things through.

I think you might enjoy this thread.  I have a lot to say on it myself, but I'm trying to keep it about climbing.

That’s the kind of thing only a mean adult could put in a kid’s head. No one can possibly be responsible for something like that, much less a kid. Blocking a baby looking at their mother’s mouth, or blocking kindergarteners looking at the faces of others kids only directly harms those kids, not some vague conjectured second degree guilt.

The reasons schools became in person was because of the shots, not the masks. By 21-22 academic year they were everywhere, and any teacher who went into a room/closed building with maybe 100 kids over a 9 hour day touching pencils, homework, desks, door knobs, are under no delusions. Masks or not, it is inevitable, and by 21-22, virtually no difference between then and now. It was dogma at that point. And yes, it was child abuse for the sake of paranoia. The way a mother mouse will eat her baby mice if she gets panicked.
