Hello, currently living in IL and considering an ice climbing trip to the UP or Colorado this year. Wanted to see if anyone might be willing to take someone new to ice climbing under their wing for a few days?

CO > UP

way more ice, longer season, more reliable conditions, and a greater volume of experience to learn from.

That’s what I was thinking, but I’m looking for someone willing to teach a newbie to ice climbing.

Scott, I’d be down! Looking at taking the intro class at the Michigan ice fest this year. But wanting to get out more this season as well.

Come up to the Winona Ice park this season for teh ice fest or book a day of intro instruction. We offer open groups and private instruction.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
