The one that arrests the fall, because it's the one that arrested the fall.

Small tricams (black!) and the three smallest ball nuts.

Cams are cams, mostly.  Nuts are nuts, mostly.  But tricams and ball nuts are bomber and when you need 'em you really need 'em.

VT prussik. That thing has come in handy many times and it's super versatile

Love 'em both, but at the end of the day black totem >> pink tricam.

Is this the one you use? I'm interested in trying it out. Seems you can put it above your device as rappel backup, and other uses

Yellow totem. Big enough to feel super bomber (I mean, blue/black feel plenty bomber too, but when I place a yellow I feel like I've clipped a bolt) but small enough that it's not floppy like a large totem.

Totems. The direct loading system is such a great innovation and knowing how much the design increases holding power is confidence inspiring.

I use the 7mm version from Bluewater but yes, that's the one!

The DMM offset nuts are the best. Gold is good, I think the small blue is better.

Everyone always mentions the black totem, but man the blue and yellow totems are amazing, too. Went to the Gunks recently, and they just feel so bomber in those thin horizontals, much more so than my DMM 0.3 and 0.4s — Don’t get me wrong, I love my Dragons, too.

Red C3. I don't know if it's specific to the area I climb in or what I grab when gripped, but that piece has gotten me out of trouble more times than I can count.

Green and yellow alien. They give me the warm and fuzzies.

Pink Tricam - no competition.  Except, maybe, from the red and black Tricams.  Oh, and the Brown Tricam is pretty sweet, too.  But, Pink Tricam is the only gear I rack three of.

Where do you climb to use all those?
