Would love to get some beta on climbing in the Cirque of Towers in late september/early october. Best places to check conditions (weather websites, FB groups, trip reports, etc). Would snow gear (avy shovel, microspikes, etc) be necessary?

Thanks!

I would just be checking the national wether service. Snow gear is probably not needed, but snow clothes would be needed. The biggest problem with early season storms is just how wet they can be. I have great picture of a bunch of folks standing around in a snow storm with umbrellas. May seem funny but with wet snow an umbrella is great.
