She started out as a client, ended as a friend. You will be missed.

Tina on the summit of Denali

Tina and I on top of Whiskey Peak after climbing Frogland. The "peace" was actually the number 2, to represent "Denali Team 2" from the previous year

Tina was very proud of her ability to neatly put away my cordalettes while following. I was always very appreciative.

An early morning selfie at the base of Epinephrine before flying up the chimneys. The stoke was high.

Rest in peace, Tina.

Andrew,

I only knew Tina through you but it seemed like her stoke was always high. Good job on the tribute to her.

RIP Tina

Casaval Ridge on Mount Shasta in 2010. Tina, you will be missed. You had a lot still to give and your time passed much too soon. Rest in peace.

I was shocked and saddened to learn belatedly about Tina. What a wonderful and vivacious person! I met Tina on the scramble up Mt. Russell almost 10 years ago. We hit it off and had great nonstop conversations until we reached about 14k' and everyone became quiet as we breathed hard in the thin air and traversed the long ridge line. Summit photo above (with Ying and Sheila). Then the chatting resumed almost exactly as we descended back below 14k and perked up with the again plentiful O2. We scree surfed for a thousand feet, laughing about all sorts of stuff before heading different directions. It was a memorable day in the mountains.  I had hoped to reconnect with Tina at some point but never did. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. It seems Tina touched many lives, mine included.

Thanks for sharing lperitz22. I thought of Tina just the other day so it was really nice to see a fresh-to-me photo of her. Glad I'm not the only one keeping her memory alive.

I was just thinking about her yesterday. I pressed "T" while searching on my phone and her contact card came up. It made me sad, then made me smile.
It's a bummer that the article spelled her name wrong in the header, and they misattributed the photo of her on the summit of Denali, but most importantly they got her spirit right and that's what matters.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
