I dream of a nut exchange

Every so often I lose a nut for one reason or another. Just as often I will gain a nut, but it’s never the size I lost. So I find myself with multiples of certain sizes even as I have to buy new nuts to replace other sizes. I can’t be the only one who has this issue. How do we organize to swap our excess nuts?

The average life expectancy of a male in the US is 76yrs the average woman 81 years. If I get rid of my nuts will I get an extra 5 years? 

I actually lost a green and had an extra.  I was pretty stoked

A nut exchange thread is a great idea IMO. 

Perhaps this thread could be for brainstorming, with a link and sticky (explaining guidelines) in the Sale/Buy Forum for context and clarity.

This would save money and be better for the environment, i.e., lower carbon footprint & waste reduction & transportation impact.

Great idea.  I have 4 or 5 partial sets.  But the cost and hassle of shipping would be too much of a deterant.  That's kinda why I don't resole any more.  New shoes for me are typically just around $10.00 more than resoles, so it's not worth the bother.
