rock climbing advice and how to start for someone in mumbai

Hi, been interested in this sport, I have no clue where to start though. I live in mumbai/India currently.Any information  would be helpful

These forums are primarily North America based, so answers may be limited.  Try searching online for guides and climbing gyms/clubs in your area.

You appear to have plenty of cliffs in your area, but India has been densely populated for centuries, so options may be limited by land ownership and historical preservation.  Climbing on and around ancient monuments like painting and carvings is a Big nono, so don't do it.  Areas that hold religious significance are also often best avoided without knowledge of the customs and history surrounding the site.

The easiest way to avoid most issues is by sticking to more popular and established climbing areas.
