Hello all,

I recently moved to Medford, OR. I usually will have Friday - Sunday off. It would be nice to test out some rock close to where I am, but I just want to get out. Open to climb pretty much anywhere, just need a buddy. I have the basic gear, 2 ropes (60 & 70), 11 quickdraws, 4 alpine draws, 1 full rack, and 2 crash pads. If you want to climb sometime hit me up on here or by phone, 209-988-5735.

I lived in Medford for 16 years and finding regular dedicated partners was sometimes challenging but there are climbers out there so don't give up! There are a few FB groups dedicated to local climbing that would be worth checking. "Southwest Oregon and Mt Shasta area climbers" (or something like that) is the main one but there are others.

Also if you don't already know how, learning to top rope solo would be worth your time. Several of the local crags are set up well for it and it comes in handy on those days when you just can't land a partner.

Feel free to reach out if you want any more specific info on the area...

Thanks for the encouragement and the FB group info. I already asked to join the group.

I have not done top rope solo, but maybe this will be the time to learn.

Awesome! I will reach out if I am need.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
