Hey, looking to climb at Denny this weekend and was curious if shaded routes would be easy to find here.  Mostly looking for 10s and low 11s!

FYI I was bitten by a tick there that made me extremely sick for months. Ticks at Denny can be bad.  Shade is ok but it’s generally a pretty hot place.

One Legged Red and Federal Offense will be in the shade in the morning. In the afternoon you could try Will Feral and Divine Swine, around the corner. Later later, walk down and do Copperhead Road!

Thanks for the suggestions! Copperhead was definitely one that caught my eye.

How do you get to corner pocket? The MP map shows it well off the trail

The map is crazy, ignore that. Just take the upper trail along the wall. You'll walk past choss for a while then you'll hit Ladies Delight, some good 10s there. Around the corner is Shaman Cave. After that is Corner Pocket. iirc

The stuff on the way to Big Tex cave stays pretty shaded, especially in the morning. Good 10s on the Orange Wall. We climbed a lot on that side a few summers ago and would start on the Orange Wall and work our way down the cliff from there.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
