MP community has donated $181 since my post.  Let's keep it rolling climbers - this is for our infrastructure.  It doesn't happen by magic.  ASCA is laser focused on providing high-quality hardware to your crag stewards who are out there getting dust in their sweaty faces.

I pay for shipping - 100% of your donation goes straight to ASCA and you get something cool made from retired rope.

Jay makes wonderful stuff from old ropes, and is also an awesome steward for the climbing community.

Do you accept old ropes b/c I have a bunch of those gathering dust

Thanks Mike.  I sent you a PM with links to two other rope upcyclers who will send you shippers so you can send in your ropes to them.  I am donating all my time, materials, and shipping costs, so I don't pay for rope shipping.

The Mountain Project community has donated $1521 since my post - that is all matched 100% so we've had $3k in impact.  The match is on through July.  We just shipped all this cool stuff to climbers who donated.  Our multi-segment gear sling is the hottest thing in climbing.  Get yours before the match ends.  Do your part to maintain our climbing infrastructure and get cool sewn items in exchange - everyone wins!
