Areas not updating on app

I’m having this problem on the mountain project app where some areas are not updating, specifically Montana, Canada, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Washington. When I hit the update button it goes through its thing of updating and then when it’s done the update button just pops up again and it says “data from June 14, 2024” underneath the update button. I’ve tried deleting those areas and redownloading and deleting the app and redownloading and nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix it?

I am having this issue on the iPhone app as well!

I’ve deleted the app several times today and reinstalled it but the issue still persists. These are the states causing problems for me.

I also noticed that MP route links sent via text open the app but no longer open the actual route.

I’m not sure if it’s just certain states that have the problem, or if it’s just a general problem with the app and some states like Colorado just haven’t had an update since June 14th

We found the culprit and are working to get it resolved. For now, the latest update is likely from June 14th for all states and countries.  

This issue was resolved this afternoon.  Please try updating your state or country, and let us know if anything is still missing.

Most of the areas were fixed for me, now colorado, California and Alaska aren’t working

I’m seeing the same here…. These states aren’t upgrading now. Everything seemed fine this morning and then these new “update” buttons showed up and won’t clear out  

Similar. My Colorado updates do not refresh beyond June 21, 2024 as per this morning. Tried everything to reset, the update button will not clear and new routes I can see on my PC are not loading into the app. Thx for working on the bug fix 

This is still not working for me- 

Colorado won't update and if I go to "manage areas-area download", Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Utah all show "Download error"

Probably not a coincidence that these were all areas I had previously downloaded, then removed

Well, sorry to have to revive this particular thread, but I have encountered the same problem in the app with Colorado showing an "update" button that won't clear out.  I've deleted and re-downloaded the state, deleted and re-downloaded the app, updated my iOS to 17.7 (on an iPhone 13 mini), and turned the phone off and back on.

By the way, how often are updates to data by state batched for updating in the app?  Is it by data volume or by time increment?  There are updates (including new areas) in CO that have been live on the website for several weeks now that are not updating yet in the app.  Just curious what the usual timeframe is for that reconciliation.  I can't imagine that the app offers an update to state-by-state data every time someone adds a new route or area-- in some places, the app would need daily updates.

Also to contribute to reviving this thread, New York and PA are doing the same thing for me with the update button not going away.

Thanks everyone, we're looking into this. I'm seeing the last update in iOS with data from 9/27/24 and in Android for 10/11/24. The expected behavior is for an update to be available for download every week with any newly-approved content.
