When did we climb together?

I wish it was not a true story, LOL. It was so much worse than you can imagine. If I could wave a wand and get rid of all the stupid "quad anchor is best anchor" and "new advanced multi-pitch tactics" vids on IG, I totally would. Rope work shouldn't be the hard part of climbing IMHO.

Also:

"I climb 5.12 in the gym"

Probably going to get some hate for this one:

"I don't need a stick clip. It ruins the style."

I've been proven wrong and climbed with people who know what they're doing despite saying this but hearing, "I've never taken a fall on gear" from a trad climber raises alarms for me

I think I'm going to upset some folks with this one

And for some reason it's always 5.7 and it becomes clear that it's gym 5.7

On a similar note - "Looking for a partner to climb ____. I don't have gear but I give a good belay and always bring snacks"

Much worse:

Earlier this week I overheard a climber refer to her PAS as her “in-direct”. Gave me a chuckle.
